COUNTRY: UNITED KINGDOM
WEIGHT: 8,5 KG / 18,70 LB
FRAME HEIGHT: 58,7 CM / 23,1 INCH
GEARS: 1, FIXED
CONDITION: 1 - 2
- Mercian bicycles have been produced in Derby, England, since 1946
- this Mercian was handcrafted according to that owner's specifications
- the model number is 2008/6
- the fork is straight like a polo bike
- instead of the right one the left-hand chain-stay is chrome-plated
- it can only travel along mainly straight lines as, due to the ultra-short wheelbase, the front tyre collides with the pedals when cornering
- because of its fixed wheel, the pedals continue to move as long as the machine is in motion
- due to a shortened wheelbase the pedals could touch the front wheel while driving a curve
- the rear base is chrome plated on the left side, usually it is the right side
